Carlos Delgado was one of the most feared sluggers in baseball in the 2000’s. He holds the Blue Jays franchise record for homeruns (336), RBI’s (1,058), and walks (827).

On September 25, 2003 Carlos became the 15th player in MLB history to hit 4 homeruns in a game vs. Tampa Bay Rays. He is a member of the Blue Jays Level of Excellence (inducted in 2013), and the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (inducted in 2015).

Carlos currently works in the Blue Jays player development department as a Special Assistant. In his current role, Carlos works with, and mentors many of the Blue Jays minor league players.

Carlos lives in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico with his family and devotes a lot of his spare time to his Extra Bases Foundation, which he established in 2001. Extra Bases has a mission to improve people’s quality of life both in Puerto Rico and abroad.
