Arencibia was a fan favorite in Toronto from 2010-2013 as the Blue Jays starting catcher. He was drafted in the 1st Round by the Blue Jays in 2007 with the 21st pick. He excelled in the minor league system for the Blue Jays for 3 years collecting the Triple A Pacific Coast League MVP Award in 2010. Arencibia had one of the most memorable Major League debut’s in the history of baseball when he went 4-5 including 2 home runs in his first ever game in the Majors. In 2013 he was named as a catcher for team USA at the World Baseball Classic. He spent 2014 & 2015 with the Texas Rangers and Tampa Bay Rays before retiring. He now spends time as a baseball broadcaster with the Miami Marlins.
