Roberto Alomar and MLB Partner Up to Bring PR12 to Puerto Rico

For the second consecutive year, National Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar and Major League Baseball have partnered together to host the 2^ndAnnual Puerto Rico 12 Showcase Baseball Tournament (PR12) in San Juan, Puerto Rico from July 25 to July 30, 2019.

The objective of PR12 is to select the best 150 Puerto Rican born amateur players that have college eligibility. These selected players will participate in a showcase baseball tournament in front of Major League Scouts and College Recruiters.

I am thrilled to partner once again with Major League Baseball and the Commissioner’s Office for the 3rd Annual PR12. We have been able to make a substantial impact for amateur players in Puerto Rico over the past 2 years, and I am committed in continuing to help them fulfill their dreams of playing professionally. Several PR12 players have signed with MLB teams, while others have received scholarships from reputable schools.
